The Purpose of this Foundation
The purpose of the Tere Des Holmes Foundation is to improve and better the lives of people in Bangladesh, particularly vulnerable children, and women. The main areas of work focus on improving access to education, providing a safe water supply and sanitation facilities for villages, development of livelihoods programs for rural communities, supporting healthcare through primary health centers (PHCs), caring for orphans and vulnerable children by supporting their education or facilitating access to schooling facilities. TDF also works with partner NGOs (organizations) in other countries: Nepal, Tanzania, and Nigeria.
