Bangladesh Army has issued a notification for the recruitment of manpower in the Trade-2 (special profession) branch. There is an opportunity for all men and women to apply. The occupations of Trade-2 (Special Occupation) are Cook (Mess), Cook (Unit), Cook (Hospital), Equipment and Boot Repair (E&BR), Bandsman (Player), Carpenter, Painter Decorator (PD), Painter, Taylor. And Cutting and Joining (C&J).
Educational Qualifications
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in SSC / equivalent examination. However, in the case of Painter Decorator (PD) and Painter profession, one has to pass from the science department.
Age
17-20 years on 5th February 2023.
Other Qualifications for Trade-II (Special Occupation)
1. Cook must be proficient in high-quality cooking for the profession.
2. Interested candidates for the post of Equipment and Boot Repair (E&BR) should be proficient in boot repair/sewing.
3. Candidates for the position of Taylor must have a minimum of three months of training in sewing. Especially to be skilled in sewing shirts and pants.
4. Candidates interested in joining the profession of Carpenter and Cutting and Joining (C&J) should be proficient in carpentry.
5. Candidates interested in joining the profession of Painter / Painter Decorator (PG) should be proficient in painting.
6. Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in various musical instruments (drums, brush band (BB), clarinet, pipe band (PB), and brush band trumpet.
Physical fitness
The height of the male candidate should be at least 5 feet 6 inches, 5 feet 4 inches for different small ethnic groups and communities. Weight at least 49.90 kg. Chest size is 30 inches in normal condition and 32 inches in swollen condition. Height 5 feet 3 inches for female candidates, 5 feet 1 inch for various small ethnic groups and communities. Weight at least 48 kg. Chest size normally 28 inches, swollen 30 inches. Both male and female candidates must know how to swim.
Application process
Interested candidates can apply via text message and online. First, you need to send a text message via Teletalk pre-paid SIM. Go to the message option and apply for the post of a soldier by writing the first three letters of the SSC pass board, roll number, year of pass, and district code and send it to 16222. After the first short message, a pin number will be sent after checking and sorting the information of the candidate. Once you get the PIN number, you have to send a text message again. In this case, you have to pay 200 TK for the application fee. After the second text message, the candidate will be given a user ID and password. With that, you have to go to this website online and fill the application form. Candidates need to upload color photos while filling the application form. After filling the online application form, the candidate has to print the admission form. If you fail to print the entry form within 72 hours of application, it cannot be printed at a later time.
